Burlington City Arts Foundation Bought a $2.5 million Property on Pine Street!

Very exciting news for the Burlington City Arts Foundation. The non-profit just completed a $2.5 million purchase of 405 Pine Street in Burlington. The deal was completed in December and was part of a $7 million capital campaign to make the Pine Street space a community center.

Developers for CityPlace Present Revised Plans to the Public!

The developers of the multi-million dollar CityPlace project provided an update Thursday about the future of the long-delayed project in the center of downtown Burlington. New plans and renderings were shared, and it is projected that due to city and state permitting the project will not be able to break ground until late summer or early fall.

Large Hotel Proposed for Shelburne Road

Large Hotel Proposed for Shelburne Road

A proposal for a hotel on Shelburne Road, including diagram plans and models, was submitted to South Burlington’s Development Review Board in early January. Discussions between the city’s review board, Larkin Hospitality, and members of local architecture and engineering firms are ongoing. The proposed hotel would sit beside recently completed commercial and residential properties.

Construction for a new apartment complex is set to undergo where Yankee Doodle Motel is located off of Shelburne Road. The apartment complex will consist of 48 units and include an age restriction of 55 years and older. Yankee Doodle Motel has stood vacant and deteriorating since 2014.

ReSource has purchased 329 Harvest Lane in Williston, VT. The local non-profit completed a substantial capital campaign to purchase the 52,000 SF property. Al Senecal, president of Omega Electric Construction Co, had not planned to sell the property, but was moved by the mission and vision of ReSource.
